オンラインで11対11が可能に！
エレクトロニック・アーツ株式会社は、シリーズ最新作となる「FIFA 11 ワールドクラスサッカー」をPlayStation3、Xbox 360、PSPに向けて2010年10月21日に発売することを発表した。
本作は、世界最高峰のプレミアリーグを筆頭に主要各国のプロリーグを収録し、ワールドクラスのサッカーを体験できるFIFA（国際サッカー連盟）公認サッカーゲームの最新作。
今作ではロシアリーグが追加され、CSKAモスクワ、グルノーブル、ボルフスブルクをはじめとする日本人選手が所属する海外チームをはじめ30リーグ約500のクラブチーム、39ヵ国の代表チームを収録、前作のオンライン対戦による全世界からのフィードバックをベースに、選手個々の外見、パスやドリブルなどのスキルの違いが明確になり、パスコントロールの正確さも大幅に改良され、選手への感情移入がより高まる。
また、前作までは、ゴールキーパーを除く10人対10人によるオンライン対戦協力プレイだったが、今作で初めてゴールキーパーを含めた11人対11人対戦を初めて実現、22人による本物のサッカー体験が可能となり、サッカーゲームの遊び方を大きく飛躍させる進化を遂げた。
