ベセスダ・ソフトワークスは、2011年10月6日に発売するプレイステーション3、Xbox 360用ソフト『RAGE（レイジ）』のFacebookのファンページ(海外)の「いいね！」が10万件を超えた事を記念して、期間限定でiPhone及びiPad専用アプリ『RAGE / RAGE HD』(英語版)を無料配信することを決定した。
『RAGE / RAGE HD』は昨年11月にリリースされたiOS専用のアプリで、コンソール版・PC版同様、id Tech 5による60フレーム／秒のハイクオリティなグラフィックを実現している。今回は10月発売のコンソール版・PC版に先駆け、いち早く無料体験できる。
